What BUNKEROID Is
A physical system for epistemic separation of sensitive information.
A tool for managing access to secrets through distributed physical knowledge.
A non-digital control layer for cryptographic and informational resources.
A system compatible with self-custody principles.
A structure that mirrors real-world hierarchical responsibility.
What BUNKEROID Is NOT
NOT a wallet.
NOT a fireproof storage device.
NOT a seed generator.
NOT a random number generator.
NOT a cryptographic algorithm.
NOT a custodial service.
NOT a backup service.
NOT a key recovery system.
NOT a security guarantee.
NOT a trust-based system.
BUNKEROID is not defined by survivability against fire, flood, corrosion, or other environmental destruction. Material robustness of some components may exist, but elemental resistance is not the core meaning of the system.
In certain threat models, destruction of physical carriers is not failure. If destruction prevents misuse, unauthorized reconstruction, or false confidence, it may be an acceptable outcome.
Recovery continuity belongs to separate user-defined redundancy schemes, including Shamir-based approaches where appropriate. It does not define the core ontology of BUNKEROID.
