This document provides canonical technical definitions of all physical and logical components used within the BUNKEROID modular system.
The purpose of this document is structural clarity, not user guidance.
All definitions are descriptive, not instructional.
The BUNKEROID Body is the primary structural component of the system.
Standard material: EN-AW 5083 (3.3547) aluminum alloy.
Manufacturing process: CNC milling.
Final geometry:
Rectangular block
Dimensions: 90 × 50 × 14 mm
Corner radius: R6
Edge chamfers: 2 × 45° on both 90 × 50 mm faces
Threaded features:
6 through-holes, threaded M3
Thread type: M3
Vertical alignment, symmetrically distributed
Functional recesses (both sides of the body):
Full Cover recess: depth 0.6 mm
Seed Fixator recess: depth 0.6 mm
Seed Pin slots: 25 positions per side, depth 0.7 mm
The body provides:
positional alignment
mechanical fixation
spatial separation of components
The body does not:
generate secrets
validate data
enforce correctness
interpret meaning
Seed Pins are discrete physical carriers of user-provided information.
Material: 1.4305 austenitic stainless steel.
Manufacturing method: sheet cutting, thickness 0.5 mm.
Geometry:
Rectangular with rounded ends
Approximate (nominal) dimensions: 12.8 × 5.3 mm
Each Seed Pin:
contains a laser-engraved string
is readable only when physically exposed
Engraving:
permanent
performed using MOPA laser technology
Seed Pins do not:
store complete secrets by default
define order or meaning
enforce cryptographic validity
The Seed Fixator is a mechanical retention component.
Material: 1.4305 austenitic stainless steel.
Quantity: 2 units per BUNKEROID (one per side).
Function:
fixes Seed Pins in their slots
prevents accidental displacement
Fixation:
secured using 2 screws per side
aligned along the central axis of the body
Structural features:
openings aligned with Seed Pins
allow visual reading when uncovered
Optional variants:
laser-marked positional labels
The Seed Fixator does not:
conceal information
control access logic
alter engraved content
The Full Cover is a visibility-blocking component.
Material: 1.4305 austenitic stainless steel.
Quantity: 2 units per BUNKEROID (one per side).
Fixation:
secured using 4 screws per side
mounted in corner positions
Function:
fully blocks visual access to Seed Pins
The Full Cover:
does not encrypt data
does not modify stored information
acts only as a physical visibility barrier
Material: Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V).
Standard: ISO 7380 M3×4
Drive type: TX10
Quantity: 4 total
Surface treatment:
anodic coloration
Purpose:
mechanical fixation
visual signaling of sensitive access
The screws do not:
enforce cryptographic security
prevent intentional disassembly
Material: 1.4301 stainless steel (AISI 304).
Standard: ISO 7380 M3×4
Drive type: TX10
Quantity: 8 total
Function:
secure Full Covers
Supplied tool: TORX TX10 bit
Standard: 1/4″ E6.3
Length: 70 mm
Purpose:
mechanical assembly and disassembly
The tool:
has no informational role
does not interact with data
The Pin Box is a transport container for unused Seed Pins.
Material: transparent polypropylene (PP).
Function:
physical protection
temporary storage
The Pin Box:
does not impose ordering
does not define semantics
The Storage Box is a transport and assembly container.
Manufacturing method: 3D printing.
Structure:
two-part enclosure
Functions:
transport protection
temporary workspace
storage of:
assembled BUNKEROID
screwdriver
Pin Box
The Storage Box has no security or informational function.
NDS is a non-persistent system identifier.
Engraved directly on the BUNKEROID body.
Functions:
originality verification
warranty reference
loyalty identification
NDS does not:
store user identity
store purchase history
store secrets
Technical definition:
NDS = BASE64(HMAC-RIPEMD-160(TXID, secret))
The secret is held outside the system.
Pin Descriptors are preparatory descriptor files.
Formats:
ODS
XLSM
Purpose:
selection and organization of engraving content
planning prior to physical engraving
Descriptor files:
do not generate secrets
do not validate correctness
do not persist after engraving
Supported structures include:
BIP-0039
SLIP-0039
Electrum
AEZEED
Monero
arbitrary user-defined strings
Output:
plain text file used exclusively as engraving input
This document defines components and properties only.
It does not define:
usage procedures
security guarantees
operational workflows
Meaning, order, and responsibility remain entirely on the user side.
